When it comes to cryptocurrency investing, you need to know your numbers. I see too many investors making trades without actually knowing their total profit/loss of the trade! I outline some of the best cryptocurrency portfolio trackers in the video above and the article below:
If you are looking for a way to track your cryptocurrency on a mobile device, Blockfolio is the best option. The app allows you to add coins to a watchlist, set pricing alerts for coins, and check the past history of your portfolio. The Blockfolio alerts are a tool that I would not be able to live without. They help me to stay on top of all of my coins while I am on the go.
One of the top cryptocurrency informational sites, CryptoCompare, has a portfolio tracker of their own. If you are looking for an in-depth analysis of your portfolio, this is the application to use. CryptoCompare is able to calculate everything from profits to taxes. I would suggest using their platform if you are a more advanced trader.
A startup company called Altpocket.io is attempting to make an intuitive portfolio tracker that integrates social elements into the application. The idea is that the application would be able to show you how well you are trading compared to your friends. It is an interesting idea but the application is still too buggy and confusing to use.
My Personal Tracker
Although there are many fancy options to use, I personally like using a google sheet because it gives me full control. I am able to get the exact information that I want and lay that information out in a way that is easy for me to quickly read. It also gives me the opportunity to add new features too my system without having to go through an external company.
